Episode 4 is online now. Keri did a phenomenal job with the delivery of the ridiculous soap opera dialogue. She did it all straight faced in spite of her always giggling scene partner. ;)
Great episode! Like I said before, for me it was hard to get into #1 and #2, but I loved it by #3 and #4...it definitely seems more Naked Gun/Airplane-ish now. Maybe I should try watching all four of them at once :).
It seems like you guys are having a ton of fun though, and that's one of the best parts of filmmaking with your friends....
Wow so I just figured out that I can post on here using my old Livejournal account that I haven't used in years. Apparently I also talked a lot about filmmaking in that blog (back when I was going to do "Gamers" as a full-length movie in 2006). Lots of interesting stuff in there (among my own personal growth stories and rants about girls I used to like, lol)...so if you want to take a look at the man I used to be 3-4 years ago, check it out! :)
Your blog (and reading my old entries) really makes me want to blog again.
Soap Athetic, as stand-alone episodes, have funny bits, but no real character development or even acknowledgment. But viewed as a whole when the seven episodes are up, I think it will be easier to make a connection to it. Thanks for sticking with it. ;)
As for blogging... get back in and do it. It's as much for the blogger's benefit as for the readers', if not more!
